Bar Admission Ceremony

February 2026 Admission Ceremony

Friday, May 8, 2026: This ceremony is only for those applicants who were successful on the February 2026 Minnesota bar exam and recommended for admission.

Timing:

The Minnesota Supreme Court will hold three admission ceremonies on the afternoon of May 8, 2026.

Registration: 45 minutes prior to your scheduled session
Ceremony times: (see your recommendation letter for your assigned session)

  • Session 1: 1:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
  • Session 2: 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Session 3: 3:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Please note:

Successful February 2026 bar exam candidates may NOT be sworn in at the April 29 monthly admission ceremony. This ceremony is only for motion admission candidates and candidates who were successful on bar examinations taken before February 2026.

Early Admission Requests

Candidates meeting the criteria outlined here may request to be admitted before the main admission ceremony.  If approved, additional instructions will be provided.
